A E3 2016 pode ter acabado, mas o debate sobre os melhores jogos apresentados na feira ainda vai continuar por muito tempo. Anualmente, representantes da mídia de games se juntam para decidir os melhores títulos por meio do Game Critics Awards, e a lista de indicados da última edição já foi divulgada.
Entre os concorrentes destacam-se Battlefield 1, com cinco indicações, seguido por Dishonored 2 e Horizon: Zero Dawn, com quatro indicações cada. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, que foi o jogo mais falado da E3 2016, concorre nas categorias “Melhor da E3”, “Melhor jogo de console” e “Melhor jogo de Ação/Aventura”.
As indicações incluem um total de 47 títulos, com os seguintes jogos tendo ficado de fora por não possuírem uma versão jogável no evento: Death Stranding, Destiny: Rise of Iron, God of War, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Prey e Spider-Man PS4. Os vencedores serão anunciados em 5 de julho.
